Are You Ready For Love

Author Note: Am I Joanne Kathleen Rowling? Nope. It's not mine, then. Like Someday Out of the Blue, this poetic spiral is based a bit off of the Elton John song it's named for.

Catch all your prized creatures and a star if you can.

Wish for something special, my dear globe-trotting man.

Let it be me one day because my love is free.

Sing a song to yourself while you climb foreign trees.

I know it looks like I guard my heart bit by bit.

Write a symphony so I'll sing "you unlocked it".

If you let me love you, I'd take the gutsy gall.

To let you know I'm your fellow quirky odd-ball.

Are you ready for love, are you ready for love?

Dear Newt, I don't know if you fit me like a glove.

I regret not hugging you when you boarded that ship.

Even though I looked super-briefly at your lips.

You're one like the sun, please shine your love around me.

Say the words you risky kook and there I will be.

Say it and we'll hear creatures caw from mountain tops.

Say it and I'll love you and I will never stop.

Who knew that in someone who was new to New York.

I felt that I would find my fellow awkward dork.

Our beginning was of course a little roughened.

I'd just cuffed you, a traveller from Old England.

Hey, what's good for my goose is good for your gander.

I know my heart is yours, scruffy Newt Scamander.

AN: Writing Tina was a bit harder, but I think I got her personality down - she's so lovably dorky I may explode!
