Slowly, Toris felt himself shudder as the guy on the other team pressed close and stole the ball from him.

Toris Laurinaitis stared in surprise as he had never expected to feel a surge of attraction for any of the opponent's team as he never had before and had not expected such an issue.

When he regained his senses, he began to tail the other person to regain the ball though the other man was surprisingly fast on his toes and before Toris could catch up and get the ball back, the American had scored a basket.

Toris never was a quitter nor did he give up that fast and so he pushed himself despite his attraction to the opposing team's player and managed to help out his team quite a bit.

In the end, they still lost against the American team though since both teams had played well, worked hard, and most importantly played fair, no harsh wounds remained on their spirits.

Toris stepped closer after the game to speak to the other male though he knew that it was probably not a good choice to do so, "Hello."

"Hi?" The blond haired, blue eyed player looked up at him, startled to see him right in front of the game.

"I'm Toris." Toris barely managed to speak up and just say those words that could potentially be ignored or answered.

"I'm Alfred." The blond seemed much happier now and offered his hand to shake though after a small amount of time, the blond looked startled and pulled his hand away with a smile held on by pure nerves alone.

"You did well." Toris muttered as he sent a nervous smile of his own Alfred's way.

"You did too." Alfred smiled wider again.

Toris further relaxed and slowly their conversation picked up and would become more personal in regards to who they were and what they'd tell the other about themselves.

"So this team that you're against is tough, but I know you'll win." Alfred smiled and leaned forward to his boyfriend on the lips as a sort of good luck charm.

"Thank you, I will try." Toris smiled at Alfred, feeling his shoulders relax.

The American grinned, "Good luck though I know that you have more than enough skill to not need luck."

"Arrogant and overconfident players don't do well." Toris smiled back at him.

"Is that why you guys lost against us? I never knew that you were that cocky." Alfred smirked as he teased his boyfriend that he had met much earlier in the season when their teams went up against each other.

Now, that blooming friendship had become a startling romance that continued to florish, and the two basketball players made sure to never miss each other's games despite every obstacle placed before them.

"No, but you couldn't have helped us out too much by being so distracting." Toris teased though it was an almost too open response in some ways.

"Great to know that I did that to you." Alfred winked, causing Toris to sigh though he smiled immediately after.

Toris knew that despite the fact that now he'd have to say a temporary goodbye to Alfred that he'd be watching and cheering him on and would still be there when the game was over; Toris couldn't ask for a better boyfriend, and he grew even more determined to play hard and win this game.
