"Ayanna! Wake up!" My twin brother Arin says; shaking me. When I open my eyes I see his big brown eyes with glasses looking down on me. His slender body is sitting on the side of my bed. His orange shirt is almost blending in with his skin because he is so tanned. He's practically the opposite of me. I have brown long hair, he has short blonde hair. I have blue eyes. He's tanned, I'm as pale as a ghost. The obvious being I'm a girl, he's a boy. The only similarities are that we're both tanned and have glasses, but my whole family has glasses, it runs in the family.

"What do you want? I'm trying to sleep." I say rubbing my eyes, and sitting on the side of the bed with my twin. The room we share isn't big at all. It can only fit our beds, and two dressers.

"Mom says that 'we need a family meeting now'." He says shrugging his shoulders, and standing up; walking out of the room into the hallway.

I look over at my clock, it reads 7:23. "That women couldn't've let me sleep in a few more hours." I mumble under my breath. I get out of my bed, and stumble into the hallway. When I walk into the living room there's people I've never seen before. I don't mean one or two, I mean twenty or thirty, and for a little house it's packed. My heart stops when I realize I'm around bunch of strangers in my pajamas. I'm wearing short betty boop pink pajama shorts, and a red tank top.

I spot my mom in a corner talking to a stranger. I immediately rush over to her, with my head down. When manage to push through the crowd she gives me a big smile.

"Hey Mom, can I talk to you?" I say; ignoring the strange look the person she was talking to is giving me.

"Of course, Sweetie." She says taking my hand and taking me to my room, so we can talk.

"What's all this." I say looking at the short blond hair women with concern.

"Well Ayanna, these people are here to help us." She says saying the word people weird. She takes a seat on my brother's bed. "You might want to take a seat." She adds pointing towards my bed. I finally look into her blue eyes, and I see that she is very tired. I sit on my bed as instructed.

"Okay, all these people are the teachers to the boarding school you're going to." She says in all on breath.

"What?! I'm not going to a boarding school, Mom." I say with question in my eyes. I cross my arms underneath my chest

"Ayanna, you're failing every single one of your classes, even gym, you just have to go to gym class to pass. Ayanna it's the only way." She says, getting frustrated.

"I'm sorry that I'm not as smart as Arin, but it's not like out doing drugs, and sleeping with a bunch of guys." I plea; trying to reason with her.

"You're not going to school, Ayanna, and your father, and I are worried about you." She says, she's not looking me in the eyes anymore.

"I promise I'll go everyday just as long as I don't have to go." I cry. My mom looks at me with a cold glare, before she stands up.

"Get dressed, and then meet your teachers. Ayanna after they leave I want you to pack, you're leaving tomorrow." She says, taking one last cold look before exiting my room. I don't get dressed. I don't meet my teachers. I just stay in my room and cry into my pillow.
