A/N I do not own Five Nights at Freddy's.

A New Life

Prologue

So we all know of the crimes that happened at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza over thirty years ago, right? No? Well then let me explain. Thirty five years ago in 1982 a thirteen year-old girl named Marinette Williams died (or should I say was murdered) outside of a restaurant called Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. A few years after that five more children were killed all ranging from the age of five to eleven, unlike with Marinette, their bodies were never found.

After that is when the truly interesting stuff begins. Night guards began disappearing and when their bodies were found in the empty animatronic suits in the storage room, they were dead. And if the guards didn't go missing they quit the job and some of these guards tried to tell people of what happened there but no one ever believed them.

Until now.

Chapter 1

A young teenager had been chased out of the building by her best friend's other friends who did not like her for a reason she did not know or understand. She was sitting outside looking into the building through a window nearby, when a car parked behind her and a man wearing a purple outfit got out. He had a knife hidden within his sleeve as he walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Are you alright?" He asked feigning concern before he recognized the girl as Henry Williams daughter.

"Not really, but I could always be worse." The girl replied before stepping forward slightly to get this mans hand off of her shoulder, but the grip he had on her tightened considerably and she moved her hand to peel off his own hand. However before she could do so the man pulled his weapon out of his sleeve and quickly stabbed her in the back of her left shoulder and she cried out in pain and turned her head to look at the man who had a sadistic smile on his face.

"Yes, yes you could." He agreed before he pulled the knife out before stabbing it in once more which made her knees buckle and she fell her breathing becoming rapid and tears began falling from the pain. She barely noticed when the knife was pulled out, or when the man walked away back to his car, as she had fallen onto her side before her vision turned black and the pain disappeared.

A teenage girl with long dark brown hair and light blue eyes that looked gray was standing outside an old building waiting for her bus to arrive. She had headphones on and was wearing blue jeans with a dark blue and white t-shirt with a floral pattern. Her face was pale as she stared forward at the trees in the front of the building which was an old elementary school. Her name is Claire Winters a sixteen year old high school student at Bridgeville Area High School.

Claire waited a while longer before the bus came and sat down in her usual seat in the front. As the bus starts to move a male around her age comes and sits next to her pulling one of her headphones out. "Hey Claire." He said casually as she turns to look at him with annoyance in her eyes.

"What do you want now Gordon?" She asked with an annoyed tone before she turned her head back over to the window. "After all I don't think I would appreciate another one of those 'jokes' you tried pulling on me before."

"It isn't another one of those, at least not yet." He snapped slightly towards her before continuing. "I want to know if you got that letter yesterday? You are the only one of us that I know so I am wondering if you also got one." Gordon Jones replied looking curiously towards the brunette. He had short blonde hair and bright blue eyes and was wearing one of the schools football jerseys as the team had a game and he was a member of the team.

"Yeah. Of course I got one, but I will probably not go." She replied staring out the window watching the familiar scenery pass by as the bus drove on, and his eyes widened at her comment.

"What do you mean you probably won't go? This is a chance to see the others, don't you want to take it?" She looked over at him with a frown before answering.

"I don't particularly like having flashbacks to the past when I meet people Gordon. I don't like having flashbacks to the past at all, and since I got that stupid letter, that is all I have been having. So that is why I refuse to go. Besides that I have to work the day they want us to meet up. You can go have fun with your old friends but as far as I am concerned I will keep my life as it is for as long as I can, and until it is required for me to go to these things, which I can see happening, I am not going." She spoke seriously turning back to him making eye contact.

He sighed as the bus pulled up to the entrance of the high school. "Fine Mari. But don't think I won't let the others know the real reason you won't go."

She rolled her eyes at that before looking down at the ground. "I stayed strong for all of you before because you all were kids to me. Now we are all the same age so I have no need to even attempt to hide it. So go ahead and tell them. Tell them their precious puppet is scared of the past." Claire snapped before the doors opened and she stood up motioning for him to go, so she could get out.

Once he got up and walked out she stood up and followed after him. "Oh, and good luck on your game tonight." She said softly just loud enough for him to hear before he got off and she followed and went to the doors separating from him. No one in the school knew they were friends, they all thought they hated each other, which was false as she did not think she truly could hate him or any of the others, she just did not want to deal with all of them for a while longer.
