Traveller

The lone traveller trod silently through the vibrant woods, his dark cloak blending in with the surroundings. His hood hung over his concealed face. It was thought that the person was a he, though no evidence was shown. Therefore, most beings referred to them as such. He stopped at a layer of vines, before pushing through to the other side.

There stood a place of unimaginable beauty. Lush green grass decorated a small clearing, trees surrounding it, stretching their leafy branches out as shelter. A lone ray of sun shone through their limbs, illuminating an ethereal creature.

With long, bat-like white wings stretched out, the being turned its head towards the mysterious man.

The tip of each feather on those wings darkened to a midnight blue, whilst the rest was a pristine white. Magnificent eyes pierced the individual. A whole galaxy stared at him – blue, purple, green, black, white. The two were fit for each other – each mysterious in their own ways.

As what looked like a winged horse moved, the rest of its body was revealed. The Feathers covered most of the body, fading to a midnight blue fur dotted with white around areas such as the head and the legs. A black mane contrasted against the immaculate snowy feathers whilst the inky tail flicked. Long legs elegantly strode towards him.

He – and now we can truly know his gender – lowered his hood. Revealed were midnight-black lips set upon glowing white skin. He didn't look unhealthy, only… beautiful in the most extreme sense. Luminous eyes gazed upon the creature, a vibrant emerald green – not even emerald, for they outshone the brightest gem.

Raven hair gleamed in the tiny amount of light and hung in silky locks to the base of his neck. A few strands slipped forwards, nearly obscuring his glittering green orbs.

A lilting voice broke the air, "We meet once more, Fay."

A toss of the head to the mystery man conveyed greetings.

"I must admit, I grow impatient," he sighed, "but I am assured by those you were named after that we shall eventually meet, be it near or far. I hope for both our sakes that it is the former."
