Three:

"I agree, ever since I heard the Piped Piper story as a child, I've always been scared of clowns. And unpaid performers." She added the last part. "You never know what kind of tricks they can do." She was serious, he couldn't believe how serious she was.

Doctor Sweets glanced over at Agent Booth, who sat next to him as his cousin Hermione explain why the fear of clowns was rational to her. They had been talking about fear and how it could stop you from doing the things you need in life. Hermione, growing up was never scared of snakes, but because of the war, she grew scared of them.

He knew his cousin was a witch, he knew it his whole life, it was what prompted him to write his thesis about the Salem Witch trials, to really see the difference between her world and his.

But now, sitting here with her and Booth, listening to them discuss the fear of clowns, it clicked. He thought Booth and Dr. Brennan belong together, but seeing Booth with his cousin, a Behavioral Analysts, transferred to the FBI last month talk. It made perfect sense.

"Lance, are you okay?" He looked back at Hermione, he straighten his back, and took a sip of his water.

"Yea, I was just thinking about all the paper work I have to do tonight before going out with Daisy. I think I'm going to head back to the office and finish."

"But you haven't gotten your food yet." Booth stated, watching as Sweets got his wallet out to pay.

"I'll just get it togo and eat there. It's a lot of paper work." He tried to hurry, He waved down the waitress, handing her the money, asking for the food togo. It took only a few more minutes before they handed his a box and his change. "I'll see you guys later."

He hurried out of the diner, looking both ways before crossing the street. Hermione and Seely watched him. Hermione looked back at Seeley, seeing him smirk. "He thinks he's so sly." Hermione stated, stealing one of his fries.

"So sly, but I think he finally got the hint." He winked at her.
