Hello Everyone! This is a very short prologue that I am only posting because it demanded to be written. I am not sure how, or if, I am going to continue this story, but we will see where my muse takes me. With how long this game takes to complete I will probably find the needed inspiration.
Natalia Trevelyan stared out the long expanse of window that stood at the end of her new abode. She was still trying to adjust to seeing the glorious view that welcomed her ever since she and the Inquisition had found their home within the awe-inspiring Skyhold.
She still couldn't fathom it. A human mage like her filling such a vital role in a fledging organization bent on saving the world from utter destruction. Her life now sounded like it came right out of one of Varric's novels. Anyway, they were all insane for thinking she was the best choice for the position of the Inquisitor, but she would still do her best to fulfil the expectations laid before her.
Letting out a long-suffering sigh, Natalia refocused her attention once again at the reports lying haphazardly below her on her desk. She really needed to practice better discipline. The reports would never be completed at this rate if she continued to get distracted by her own morose thoughts.
Natalia brushed back her Onyx hair from eyes and began reading through a report from Josephine over one noble house finding fault with the Inquisition and what they could possibly do to alleviate relations.
Damn Nobles. Always complaining. Natalia let out a small smirk. She could have been just as snobby if she hadn't been sent to a circle at such a young age. Maybe her being a mage was good for something after all.
"Okay enough of this. I'm not making any head way." Natalia sighed as she stood up from her desk.
She would just have to go and see which of her companions she could bother for some much needed relief.
So that is it for now. Please feel free to review and let me know what you think and if I should continue or not! It will surely make my day!
