Hazel was hurting.
This whole quest was nothing but a damper on her morale, and nobody was helping her. It sucked, in all honesty. She had found her brother, but also lost Percy and Annabeth. She couldn't get a good piece of luck.
Gaea had messed with her in both lives, and Hazel had had enough. Her fist would end up kissing Gaea's face soon.
Leo was fed up.
The gods just loved making his life harder.
Get on good terms with Romans? Pssh. Send an eidolon to possess him!
Not to mention his family's jacked up history. Hazel had been sweet on his great grandfather.
He hadn't been able to find the access code for that sphere, so he had opened the cookie that Nemesis had given him. And now Percy and Annabeth were lost.
While Leo should've been planning on getting to Greece, he was pondering to hit Gaea, and hit her hard. She had a whole new arsenal of hurt coming her way.
Nico wanted revenge.
Three years ago, he had lost his sister, and now his two friends were in Tartarus, where he had barely survived.
Yep. Nico was mad.
He was going to keep his promise to Percy and lead the others to the mortal side of the doors in Epirus, but not without smacking some of Gaea's forces. If he ever faced her, he would make her sorry that she ever messed with him or his friends.
If it took one of Hedge's cage matches, Bring. It. On.
Piper was biding her time.
She wanted to kick Gaea's butt right then and there, but she had to wait. Rushing into fights blindly wouldn't save Percy and Annabeth, or the world, for that matter.
Annabeth.
Piper's good friend from camp (and her boyfriend) was going through something horrible. All because of Queen Nasty herself.
Piper had had her doubts about Percy being totally loyal, but she had no doubt now. Percy had only gone to Tartarus out of loyalty to Annabeth.
Charmspeak wouldn't work this time. Time to kick some ass.
Devastation was the first thing that Frank felt.
He'd been busy helping Leo secure the Athena Parthenos, but that didn't make him feel any better. If he'd been paying attention, he could've saved his friends. But never in his life would he have thought that Percy and Annabeth needed saving.
The trip back to cavern to see if they could find them made Frank feel even worse. Demoralized.
Frank wasn't completely charged by adrenaline, but he wanted payback. He would fight back, no matter how much it took.
Jason wasn't easily comforted this time.
He and Piper had tried to keep each other's spirits up, but it just wasn't working. They were both stricken. All of them were. Leo didn't even joke around as much. Hard to enjoy a joke when your whole life feels like one.
Jason and Piper sat alone at times, trying to think of ways to rescue Percy and Annabeth.
Nothing worked.
They were closing in on Greece, and Jason swore that he would smash some faces. Time to get serious.
So, there's my oneshot. I know that it's very, very short, but it kind of is supposed to be. Anyways, I hope that you enjoy. Please read and review!
Plus, anyone notice my TLO line?
