A Rogue's Glare
Her daggers gleamed in the moonlight as she appeared from behind the bush. Her eyes twinkled a bright green fire from behind the dark mask. Her twilight figure glistening in the damp midnight, her powerful stature threatening and strong. The sight made my dead cold heart pound as I laid my eye upon her. The blood elf flicked her daggers ready for a fight.
Her gaze everlasting, unwilting, infinite.
The moonlight beamed down on the grotto. The dew glistening off the grass and trees. Her armor looked damp from running through the forest. Beads of water slowly flow down her leather armor, gathering in patches before soaking into the material. It was almost as if Elune was watching over the grotto. The grotto was surrounded by walls of stone covered in vines. The undiscovered area left untouched by the makers. A near by pool of water lit up with fireflies and water striders as they danced and played around the waterlilies.
We locked eyes for what seemed like forever. Her figure was unbreaking and still.
I stood there my massive sword hanging from my bloodless fingers. My grip strong as to not let go of it. I looked at her my ever so cold gaze into her eyes. The figure was slim but weak. Her sharp blades a shade of green. Poison. Her leather armor was fit perfectly to her body creating a thin layer of protection that would hold out in a fight and give her the mobility she needed.
I couldn't help but shake in fear. A death knight was not supposed to fear. Not the living or the dead. Being dead does that to a man. My night elf tallness giving me atleast a foot taller than the woman across the clearing. My armor heavy and sturdy, perfect for my strength, as well as giving my the power I needed to wield my blade with tremendous force. My facial hair a dark blue, my eyes the color of ice, and my teeth filed to a point. I grinned to show them off, hoping to induce some sort of fear. If there was any in this Blood Elf. I had not seen it.
I rose my weapon in a battle stance my eyes burning ice cold almost as if a massive blizzard was occurring inside my head. In truth, It was. This woman fascinated me. Entranced me almost. The problem that I was about to face was her. Her kind.
The Horde.
