A/N-Hey this is just a small, funny little ficlet. It came to me after reading the 6th book. I tried not to put in any major spoilers, but do be careful if you haven't read The Half Blood Prince. :)
Warnings-Minor, minor spoilers. Humor!
Boy-Wonder and his Amazing Sidekicks!
It was a hot day at Number Four Privet Drive. Harry Potter was out in the backyard, pulling weeds from the dying flower beds. He looked up when he heard a noise, almost like a car backfiring. He jumped up, a ran for his wand, which he now kept with him no matter what. He only had one more day until his birthday, after all.
He grabbed his wand, and turned around. What he saw made laugh so hard, tears were rolling down his face. Ron was standing there, Hermione right next to him, with Ginny next to her. They all had on capes, that were flapping in the light breeze, and all had masks just covering their eyes. His laughter slowly died down into chuckles, and Ginny slowly held out a cape.
"What do ya say, Boy Wonder? Wanna join? We'll be your trusty sidekicks, through thick and thin."
Her words hit him, and for some reason tears sprung to his eyes.
"I don't know," he said, rubbing his chin. " Who are all of you?"
Ron stepped forward with a goofy grin on his face. "I'm Quidditch-Boy! My job is to do what Brain-Girl tells me to do." He said, laughing the entire time.
Hermione was next, a smile firmly in place. "I'm Brain-Girl, and my job is to make the plans and figure out the hard stuff. And to boss around Quidditch-Boy and Damsel-Girl."
Ginny stepped forward, a smirk on her face. "I'm Damsel-Girl. I get caught, subsequently leading to the bad-guys lair to save me and the day! And I listen to Brain-Girl!"
Harry laughed. He laughed hard. He couldn't ever remember laughing so hard. He rolled on the ground for ten minutes before he calm himself. He slowly got to his feet, and looked at his friends. Ginny held the cape out again. It was black, and Boy-Wonder was stitched in green thread aon the back. On the front, almost to small to see, "Order of the Phoenix" was also stitched in green thread. He took, and secured it around his neck.
"And your Boy-Wonder. You always save the day, no matter how unlikely, or impossible it seems. You also listen to Brain-Girl." Ginny said, smiling.
It was at this moment that he truly felt that he could, and would defeat Voldemort. He smiled, and then heard Ginny say,
"And now, we truly are the dream team."
