Knock knock
She had been in the bathroom for over an hour now. She was crying. She didn't really know why. Well, she did. She had upset her best friend of 4 years. she had yelled at him about his sloppy attitude, so he yelled back. She could see the pure anger in his eyes, she shouldn't of said anything because she knew about his past, and yet she said the words that made him freeze. 'you're just a useless kid.' she knew the pain behind those words, and yet she had let them slip right out of her mouth so carelessly.
So there she was, lay on his bathroom floor with her face burried in the cold tiles. Her blue locks were matted and were spread out around her like a mane of a lion. She wasn't much of a lion though, she was such a coward, so small and useless.
Knock knock
She looked up to the door and went to open it. Reaching for the handle, she hesistated and walked to a mirror. She looked awful. Her face was white with big red bloches around her puffy, bloodshot eyes. She straightend her headband and walked to the opend it to find Gajeel on the other side.
"Shrimp I'm-"
"No Gajeel I'm sorry, it's my fault. I shouldn't of yelled at you." She spoke quietly.
"No don't you dare go blamin' yourself." He said sternly, his eyes soft. "It's my fault too."
Levy shook her head. "No-" She was cut of as she was pressed against a hard chest. She burried her face in his T-shirt, sobbing the hardest she had ever cried in her life. Gajeel sunk to the floor with her in his lap. They stayed like this for a while until Levy broke the silence. "Gajeel?"
"Yeah?" His deep voice made her whole body vibrate.
"Thank you." She whispered.
"Levy?"
"Yes?"
Levy blinked. Did she hear that right? She looked up at him. He was smiling at her. Their faces got closer as Levy's heart pounded at her chest. Levy closed the gap and their lips connecte. when they broke apart Levy settled back into his chest. "I love you too."
