Disclaimer: I do not own Legacies that would be Julie Plec, Warner Brothers and the usual suspects.

Hello, my lovely readers. So, Landon is my favorite Legacies character thus far; so I had to write something for him. I hope you enjoy it. On with the show…

Puzzle Piece:

Landon Kirby was many things. Landon was an orphan, a teenager, a brother, and someone who did not think himself to be all that special. He was just another street rat, a hoodlum, a castoff, and no one that anyone wanted around for too long.

Landon now knew he was something else. Maybe a puzzle piece. And he did not know if he was one of the sharp edges of the puzzle. Or he could be one of the pieces in the middle. The one you found yourself holding between your forefinger and thumb, staring at the image and trying to figure out how and where he belonged.

Landon was not afraid of finding out which piece he was. He already knew his piece did not symbolize the knight-in-shining-armor. He was not the hero. But he thought that maybe he wouldn't find out that his piece turned out to be the fanged creature, full of venom and bile.

Landon would be okay with being the piece that helped make the picture clear. He would be happy to be the guy who the girl, maybe, liked, for, like, five minutes, before she met the hero, and they ran off into the sunset. He just didn't want his story to end in a hole. In a dark, dank, never-ending tunnel of regret and loneliness.

Landon was looking at Hope, down a hallway, with his heart pounding in his chest, and hoping that she did not still think he was the piece of the puzzle that would ruin her world.

So, there's like a minor spoiler for Legacies 1x02, at the end.

Thank you for reading, faving, following and reviewing.

Peace,

J
