Summary: Cas never forgot to bring Dean
Authors Note: I was bored at work, lol. Written for my lovely best friend/sister.
Every relationship has that definitive moment where you know you're in love. For Dean it wasn't so much a moment but a series of them. Whenever Sammy and him were so tied up in a hunt that they didn't have much time to eat Cas would pop in with some kind food. Dean wasn't even sure how Cas knew that they needed the sustenance. They would be hold-up in their motel room, researching whatever it was they were hunting and there Cas would be with a bag of the closest fast food chain in hand. The best part, in Dean's opinion at least, was that Cas never forgot the pie.
Each time Cas brought them food he also came bearing a different type of pie. Even when it was a flavor he had already given Dean, every slice was unique in it's own way. Like the dude was traveling the country, hell the whole world for all Dean knew, just to bring him the perfect piece of pie. Dean had lost count of how many times the Angel had done this, all he knew was that whenever he had a hard hunt ahead of him there was orgasm worthy pie to look forward to.
It was during a particularly awful Werewolf hunt that Dean first noticed it. The slight urge to grab Cas by that stupid trench coat and kiss the hell out of him, just because the guy remembered to bring him pie. At least that's what he thought the reason was, after the fifth or sixth time the whim struck him. It wasn't until Fuck, I love youstarted crossing his mind whenever Cas showed his face that he knew it wasn't just the pie that Dean cared about.
Dean waited to act on this thought, biding his time until Sam was at the library, leaving Dean in the motel with his laptop. He had made sure not to eat much, so that Cas would stop by with dinner. Sure enough after about two hours of pretending to research he heard the tale tell flutter of invisible wings.
"Hello Dean." Cas walked over the place the bag on the little table. Dean peaked into the bag, bacon cheese burger, fries and a little box that was sure to contain some fantastic slice of heaven. Dean smirked before pulling Cas down and laying a light kiss on his chapped lips. When Dean pulled away Cas had a dusting blush across his nose and a small smile. "About time."
