"I love you."
These are the words that change everything. Well, not everything.
Your father still treats you the same way. He always will. Even when you tell him you're dating the boy who told him to talk to you about sex. Shudder.
You still have a dopey step-brother. No matter what, he will always be protective of you. He will kill your boyfriend the day he hurts you. It will be his first and last time hurting you, because Finn will make sure he can't even blink.
All your friends will fight. Face it, they will always fight. Santana and Rachel will fight about who gets the last plate of gelatin at the nursing home. Quinn will look at Rachel will a hint of hate. After all, she did steal her boyfriend. She will always look at her like that even though she's happily married with two children.
Life won't change. As much as you wish the haters will go away, they never will. There will always be bigots, who hate you for being who you are. They will hate you because you love a boy. Well, on the bright side, not all people are like that. Take Mercedes as an example. She will always love you, no matter what.
But things do change.
He loves you. That's huge. You know you love him too, but you're scared. You are scared he's lying. Deep down inside, you know he's not. But that doesn't change anything. Your fear doesn't leave your mind.
You're also making mental decisions. Do you love him? Who the crap are you kidding? That's right. No one. Of course you love him. A blind person could tell you that. They can probably feel it radiating off your skin. But are you ready to say it? Yes. Okay we can check that off the "list."
You also feel the need to shout it from the rooftop. "BLAINE ANDERSON LOVES ME!" Is that normal? Probably not. But since when am I normal?
But this relationship has changed. I don't know how. I think that there's a more emotional depth to it. I know. That is a lot to take in. I, Kurt Hummel of Lima, Ohio, am in a committed relationship. Wow that sounds weird. But in a god way. I know I'm young, and Blaine is my first boyfriend, but I have a great feeling about this one. He's the ONE.
And I will declare it the only way I know how.
"I love you, too, Blaine Warbler."
Now let's seal it with a kiss.
