~Familiar Surroundings~

Past blossoming trees, where daylight never wanders, the enchanted forest awaits.

My façade of happiness is jaded, I'm envious for indulgence.

Running through fields of gold, escaping to my refuge.

Reality lingers like a bad memory, immortal to destruction.

Eternal peace lies out of my reach, behind these loathsome bars.

Near the glistening river, hidden deep in the emerald trees.

Because no one can find me here, they can litter my heart with hatred and lies

but my dreams will remain innocent.
