A Percabeth Story

The blond rolled her stormy gray eyes.

"Stop." She whisper commanded as she shot her mischievous looking boyfriend a glare. He only gave her an innocent glance. Minutes later, a small tap on her shin made her internally sigh.

"I said Stop, Percy." She whispered as she continued to glare at him from the other side of the table. Others were beginning to notice, and giving them curious glances. Soon a rub on her foot from none other than Percy's shoe brought her back into reality and away from the fascinating video on alphabetizing books. She was currently in a brand new library in New York, exploring all the nooks and crannies, and somehow Percy had convinced her to bring him. She was only now realizing her mistake. When you mix Percy and silent-sitting-video watching time together, you got a useless solution. And an obviously bored Percy Jackson trying to play footsy with a daughter of Athena.

Suddenly, a small gliding on her left ankle, and a suggestive waggle of Percy's eyebrows, and Annabeth couldn't stop herself. She laughed. Out Loud. In Front of 20 people who were trying to watch library documentaries. The people weren't so happy.

A hefty librarian, who seemed disappointed to have to leave her cookie snakes, came stumbling their way.

No Annabeth thought desperately.

"I am going to have you two to leave," The librarian whispered as she reached them.

"Oh, that will not be necessary; we will stay quiet for the rest of the film." Annabeth desperately whispered back. "Right, Percy?"

Her boyfriend's response was not the answer she wanted. Instead of agreeing with Annabeth, Percy turned his head to the librarian, leaned in as if this was a secret conversation and 20 other people couldn't hear them. Percy then melodramatically whispered, "Are you here to join our game of footsy?"

The librarian kicked the couple out.

Kicked Annabeth Chase out of a library.

Annabeth.

Point of View Change

As the blond marched out of the library, Percy causally followed her. He could nearly feel the anger radiating off her but he was also studying her intently. She was currently in dark faded jeans, and a casual white tank top with a blue gray scarf. Her curly blond hair was bouncing everywhere as she moved her hands in exasperation in a no doubt attempt to tell him how irresponsible it is to do that sort of stuff in a public library. But Percy wasn't listening because he was highly intrigued by her stormy gray eyes that wouldn't meet his. Finally, they did.

"Peruses Jackson, did you even hear a word I just said?" Annabeth growled.

Percy's eyes blinked in surprise, but a slow smirk appeared as the shock passed. All Percy did was grab his girlfriend's hand, brought her closer to him, and leaned down so their lips could meet.

Annabeth's eyes widened in surprise and she leaned back, putting a hand on his chest.

"Do not change the subject."

Percy smirked, "It wasn't a subject change for me. I was already thinking of you."
