Out of Nowhere

When I grow aware of you silently walking up behind me, my breath hitches in my throat. My heart flutters wildly in its bone cage as I sense you leaning forward. My eyes close in pleasure as your warm breath falls on the side of my face. I gasp in shock when the tips of your unexpectedly cold fingers sweep down the nape of my neck. I spin round to confront you but I am prevented from speaking as your warm lips press up against mine and your cold fingertips absorb the warmth provided by my steadily rising body temperature.
