A/N: I want to thank my friend Louise for giving me the inspiration to write this, and for being the Scorpius to my Rose. (Like really, we do RPG's together and she is Scopius while I am Rose)
And for anyone that's interested, we have started a Next Generation RPG page, send me a PM if you want to know more! Haven't done a RP before? No problem, we're here to help anyone who wants to give it a try.

Winter Night

Rose stirred in her sleep as the sound of something small hitting her window rang through her room, however she didn't wake up.

It was Christmas Holidays of her 6th year at Hogwarts and she was spending it home at her parent's, before they would leave for her grandparents sometime the day after. It was the night before Christmas Eve and she and her brother Hugo had been up late, talking about various stuff like what they were getting for Christmas.

The sounds from her window became a bit louder and after a minute she woke up.

Without thinking about it she slid out of her bed and walked barefoot over the cold floor in her room and to the other end where her window was found.

The sound turned out to be pebbles being thrown to the window and as she opened the window to see who was throwing them her sleepy face cracked into a grin.

A blonde boy was standing on the ground beneath her window with a broom in his hand and his coat tucked tight around him.

Rose waved him up to her and he mounted his broom as she took a step backwards, allowing him to climb through her window by the help of his broom.

A couple of minutes later the two of them were embracing each other tightly, his broom and coat carelessly thrown off by her window seat. They shared a sweet kiss before she pulled back a bit, but not enough for him to lose his grip around her waist.

"Scorpius, what are you doing here?" she asked him in a whisper.

"I couldn't stay away. I had to see you," he answered in a soft voice as he cupped her face between his hands.

Blue eyes couldn't tear away from grey ones. Not before a creak was hear from somewhere else in the house.

Rose gasped and pulled her boyfriend with her to her bed. She laid down beneath the duvet.

Scorpius looked unsure for a moment before he stepped out of his worn chucks and jeans and lay down next to his girlfriend. She snuggled up to him and he let one hand rest on her stomach as her back faced his front.

"I had to see you," he repeated.

"I've missed you," she told him in a sleepy voice. "I wish you could stay," she whispered.

"Me too, maybe next year?"

"Maybe."

Scorpius kissed her shoulder lightly where her nightshirt, which was really his, had slipped down.

"Rose?"

"Mhmmm?" She was half asleep by now.

"I needed to see you because… Rose I love you." He blushed, even though he wasn't sure if she was asleep or if she would remember it in the morning.
