Disclaimer: I don't own Doctor Who

A/N: OMG the fiftieth anniversary is amazing! Incredible! So many wonderful moments and sure, there are some possible plot holes, but it wouldn't be a Moffat script without them, now would it? And the parody 'Five(ish) Doctors Reboot' is a gem of hilarious entertainment. I was ROFL.

This poem is a follow up to 'Hurt' and my more or less obligatory '50th Anniversary' fiction. Enjoy!

Moment

One moment before Gallifrey's fall

One moment before I kill them all

One moment that I will always regret

One moment that I will never forget

/

The Moment mocks my words 'No More'

The Moment knew the weight I bore

The Moment will howl through all of time

It is Bad Wolf, and the choice is mine

/

This moment when I have lost all hope

This moment when I just cannot cope

In moments my future selves arrive

Ready and willing to stand by my side

/

A moment later we've changed our minds

A moment later we're changing time

A moment later my future and past

Come together to make Gallifrey last

/

A moment of peace in the eye of the storm

A moment of feeling joyful and warm

A moment of not always being in pain

A moment of knowing…it wasn't in vain

/

A moment of being the Doctor again
