I see you there, alone and scared

You're lost and confused, but I don't really care

Leave at once, I demand

And take your trembling arm in my hand

You cringe and back away from me

So, this wasn't someplace you chose to be

Medicine? Oh, blast it all

You come with me down the hall

I show you a map of Wonderland

And explain how the loyalties stand

Three territories, the Castle, the Park, and Hatters

Though in truth, to me they don't matter

Back to work, I take a seat

Did I hear you say my wares are neat?

I disagree and wave you off

As you walked away at my rudeness you scoff

Not that it matters though

Those without roles I've no reason to know

Oh, but an Outsider, of all things!

Does no one remember the trouble they bring?

I shouldn't work myself up so

But still, I wonder where she'll go

I hide it well, but even in me

Hides curiosity of change I don't let others see

Six thousand two hundred and twelve cycles now

To fix clocks for that long, I wonder how

But I get lost in its lovely sound

Watching as the hands spin around

The once full box is empty upon her return

I look at her so cruelly that it burns

Alice Liddell she says is her name

She'll be staying here? My, what a shame…

Those silent days when only I'm here

I'd hate for them to all disappear

She insists on helping me

But the meaning of clocks she needs not see

The more you know the harder it is

To escape from such a world as this

The last outsider, one thousand cycles ago

The knowledge she carried was too much to go

But what is one more soul to the call?

Heart or clock, all things fall

At the end of the season of Hearts maybe,

I'll have satisfied this burning curiosity

/Experimental Julius poetry writing. It doesn't flow as well as Peter's did, though I might keep going with it just for the fun of it XD(By the way, the first two lines of the last stanza were both song references, "One More Soul to the Call" from Silent Hill and "Stray" from Wolf's Rain) Reviews are loved :3
