Angela slowed the car and stopped. Monuments and headstones were as far as the eye could see. She then stole a glance at her friend. Brennan had been through a lot the last year and coming here wasn't easy. But she'd told Angela that it was something she felt she needed to do. Flashing her a sad smile, Angela watched Brennan exit the vehicle.

Every now and then soft as breath upon my skin
I feel you come back again
And it's like you haven't been gone a moment from my side,
Like the tears were never cried,
Like the hands of time were pulling you and me.

Brennan sighed as she pulled her coat closer together. The wind was cold and the cotton did little to stop the biting chill. Of course, she knew in her heart that the sudden chill had little to do with the fall weather. She always felt that way when she went there to visit. She felt the hairs prick on the back of her neck as she got closer to her destination.

And with all my heart I'm sure we're closer than we ever were,
I don't have to hear or see I've got all the proof I need.
There are more than angels watching over me
I believe
Oh I believe

Tears pricked her eyes as she saw the tall monument. A stone angel would forever stand guard over him. Stooping, she brushed the leaves away and read the words she knew by heart. Tears fell freely now as she looked up to the sky, knowing that if there were a God, he wouldn't have taken him away from her. Not when they had finally found each other. She closed her eyes and found that her mind flooded with memories of their last moment together. It'd been a particularly hard case and Booth had comforted her like he always did. But this time, he hadn't pulled away and she'd eyed him curiously as she read deep emotion in his brown eyes. He'd kissed her then and it had changed everything. They made love that night and she experienced the joining of two souls he'd always told her about. Finally. And then her future had been shattered. Brennan remembered vividly Cam coming by her apartment the following night. Not usually good at reading people, Brennan knew what Cam's tear-stained face meant.

Now when you die and life goes on, It doesn't end here
When you're gone every soul has found a flight
It never ends if I'm right.
Our love can even reach across eternity.
I believe
Oh I believe

She glanced back towards the car where she saw tiny hands in the back window. Their daughter; the last gift Booth would ever give. Brennan had vowed when she'd found out she was expecting that their child would know what a good man their father had been.

Forever you're a part of me,
Forever in the heart of me,
I will hold you even longer if I can.
Oh the people, who don't see the most,
See that I believe in ghosts.
If that makes me crazy then I am
Cuz I believe
Oh I believe

Wiping her tears, Brennan stood. "I miss you Booth," she whispered. And then she walked away.

There are more than angels watching over me.

I believe
Oh I believe

And I believe.

Every now and then soft as breath upon my skin,
I feel you come back again
