I do not own Grand Theft Auto or any recognizable names, trademarks, or places.
I do, however, own my OCs.-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^
I sighed, breathing in my first breath of Los Santos air as I stepped out of the airport.
'At least it's sunny.' I tried telling myself, but the bag slung across my back kept my mind clouded with pessimism. I hailed a cab and let the driver stash my suitcase and my train case in the trunk but kept the messenger bag. "I have some work to do and I need it close." I told the guy, not lying exactly but not exactly giving any reason to be suspected.
I gave him the address to the house I had scoped out before I had left Liberty City, on Hangman Avenue. It wasn't anything fancy, just a small house in Vinewood Hills with a six car garage and a pool in the back, a pretty nice place for the $175K price tag. I had to be conservative with my money until I had a source of income lined up. If I let myself get caught up in the fast paced materialism of LS, my savings would be gone in no time.
On the way there, I addressed my notebook where my lists and plans were written in my scribbling, bubbly penmanship.
I had almost $500K left after buying the house. Soon, I'd have to find a car, too.
As we pulled up and the driver helped me to the door with my bags, it hit me. I really wasn't in Liberty City anymore, in the familiar apartment with my loud, overbearing family. I couldn't ride the subway to Alderney and hang out with Maria and Anton. The sounds and smells were different and unsettling.
I was alone in Los Santos.
