For Love
Author's notes: So, this is my second Star Wars-themed fanfiction. This time, it's based on Star Wars: Force Unleashed. The pairing is Starkiller x Juno Eclipse. It may have spoilers, for those who never beat the first or second one. I hope you enjoy!
Starkiller's face was directly in front of his past master, Lord Darth Vader. To defy any entity in this universe, let alone the dark side, for love is the most beautiful reason to rebel... Even if General Kota, a friend of Starkiller and a powerful Jedi, would beg to differ. Facing the self-proclaimed 'most powerful in the Force' Sith, Darth Vader, was said to be foolish; even by Vader himself. But Starkiller would not have it any other way.
"The woman is meaningless!" Darth Vader's lightsaber collided with the twin lightsabers of the one he so much wished he could call his 'slave'.
"I'll kill you where you stand!" Starkiller lunged at Vader.
The tables would soon be turned. Darth Vader held up Juno Eclipse with the Force, choking her. The one Starkiller had fought so tirelessly for, Juno, was now in the clutches of the one who had taken everything from him from day one.
"Let her go!" Starkiller watched as Juno could not resist the choking from the invisible grip.
"Be my apprentice once more... Surrender to the Dark Side or I take her life."
Starkiller had no choice... His twin lightsabers dropped to the ground as he bowed his head. "What... is... thy... bidding... my... master?"
Innumerous amounts of Force lightening bolts shot from Starkiller's palms. Juno's body dropped to the ground, silently breathing. Darth Vader's palms went up, deflecting the bolts.
"You can't do this alone, boy!" General Kota grabbed Juno. He waved for Starkiller to come forward, but Starkiller kept attacking Vader.
"Go!"
"But...!"
"JUST GO!"
General Kota nodded... He knew it had to be done. Any adept in the Force had seen this coming from day one. General Kota carried Juno to the ship they had arrived on, and just in time.
Starkiller collapsed, dead... From a clone of the same reflection as his. Darth Vader turned to the sky. Starkiller's clone looked to the body of his original DNA, then to Vader. Vader turned on his heel, then started walking off. It was an unusual ending for his first apprentice. All the power Starkiller could have had... "Foolish boy." The clone narrowed his eyes at Starkiller's lifeless body, then followed his master.
Starkiller gave his life for love, which to this day is the most beautiful and powerful sacrifice in the history of man; Jedi or Sith alone. Not even the most wisest of Jedi could tell you any different; nor could any Sith, not even Darth Vader himself, be as powerful as an act of such pure intention.
