Hello everyone and I decided to post this because I don't want to be MIA again and I'm still trying to find a perfect way to end "The Love That Began by the Sea". So, while I'm brainstorming with that, I'll throw this one out here. This will have between 2-4 chapters and the ending is something I've already planned out.

this is the first story I have about stars, there is another one I have, but will put that one off for a while.

This is one of the pairings that won in the old poll I have, even though that pairing is a possibility, it is not absolutely certain that is how it will end. The characters won't shown until the story is completed.

So, enjoy this and the others will come as soon as I write them out.

I loved the stars and I've shared my love for them with her, my girlfriend, or at least she was.

I remember the night we promised to stay together forever, the night we truly showed how much we needed each other.

It was one of those nights when I would take her out in my garden and we would lie down on the ground as we watched the stars.

Like always, I told her everything I know about them and the story behind the constellation.

"Which star do you love most?" She once asked me.TMy favorite is the one we can't see at night, which is the sun." I told her as I continued to look at the sky as she began to face me.

"Why is that your favorite?" She asked and I told her this.

"It's because it reminds me of you." She blushed, but I continued to speak.

I told her, "I admire how it, without fail, shines down upon us every single day and I admire for being able to do such a thing.

She gave me a shy smile, but it was still able to show her feelings towards me. I held her hand and gave it a light kiss before I told her, in soft and hushed tone as if I was whispering to a baby.

"I love that star out of the stars in the sky, but my favorite of all the stars is the one I have all to myself. The one that is closest to me and desires to stay close to me. The star that I love, that also loves me back. The star that shines for me."

Her blush turned to a deeper shade of red as I finished. I gave her a smile and she only looked at me as if she was starstruck, but in reality I was the one who starstruck by her.

"Maki-chan..." She was still amazed at my unusual straightforward and honest words considering my personality.

"I mean it, Honoka." She gave me a light smile.

"How can I be such a thing when I'm not even that special?" You asked me a silly question that I already and always knew the answer to.

"You are special, you're special to me and if I'm the only one who can see that, then continue to shine only for me."

"Then if I'm your star, what are you?" She placed her hand gently on my face and she looked deeply into my eyes.

"I'll be your world that you shine down upon. I need you, but in a way, you also need me."

"Oh, why is that?" She stroked my face gently with her thumb.

"I'll give you a reason to continue shining."

"Then stay forever by my side as my whole world and I'll never fail to shine and brighten up your day whenever you need me to."

"You don't even need to ask." She gave me one of her brightest smiles and she pulled me close for a kiss.

The kiss was magnificent and it was suppose to signify our eternity together. I truly thought so, and so did she.

Until our eternity together was severed and lost and it had begun to exist with another.

Now I lay here, thinking, wondering if I can get back the star that was stolen from me.
