"And my beautiful princess," He started with that annoyingly perfect voice of his, "I will see you at the ball tonight." He flashed a smile and turned away from the girl who had already fallen in love with the blonde. But who wouldn't? Who could possibly stand three minutes without falling to his charm? His different types of charms gets people to do whatever he wants for him. Joining the stupid club, staying in it, it's all because of him. But did you really stand a chance?

When she first breaks the vase, you want to just let it go. You see the way his eyes are sparkling and you know that nothing good can come out of it. But hes smiling and talking some nonsense about Romans so you decide that maybe she won't be too bad. As long as she stays out of your way you don't have any reason to worry.

He's in love. You can see it in his eyes. It's the same look the twins give to each other, and the cousins that are also in the club. It's the same look you send his way every single day but he never notices. You decide to help him. The main goal is to make sure that he is happy, that's always been it. It doesn't matter who makes him happy, you repeat in your head again and again.

He comes to you in his time of need. He has realized his feelings. He wants to confess. You tell him that you wish him the best. He looks up with those stupid violet eyes and you are suddenly making plans on the perfect date between the two. It always ends this way, with him getting what he wants. You think that he should be more independent, but he doesn't need to. First he had you, now he has her.

You can't remember much after he leaves. The word has become gray again, and you wonder why you can barely remember the color. You try to take up painting, but it seems you lost your touch. Working harder on school and work seems like the best option for you.

You're in the hospital. They say its only a few broken ribs and a black eye. They don't seem to know how it happened, which is odd because neither do you. He comes and visits, talking about how his best friend is hurt, but you haven't spoken since the world turned gray. You wonder why your head hurts.

She comes to visit. She reminds you that they might be together, but he was yours first. You wonder if she is having second thoughts. If she decides to leave him, he will return to you and the world will be colorful again, but at the cost of his happiness. You decide to tell her that you have no idea what shes talking about.

A visit from your sister surprise you. She has been with her husband while he travails, so you haven't seen her recently. She asks you if the situation has gotten any better, and you are confused. What situation?

Your sister insists that you stay with her after you are released from the hospital, and you're not sure why. You ask her about it, wondering if somethings wrong. She assures you that she is just looking out for your safety, but that confuses you even further. What do you need to be kept safe from?

You are back in school. It is almost sickening, seeing them together. You remind yourself that he is happy. Your father has asked you to come back home so you have, even though your sister seemed worried. You keep finding bruises all over your body and you wonder what those are from. You seem to be wonder a lot lately. Weren't you the smartest kid in the class?

A/N: Hello! I haven't written a fanfic in what seems like forever. There is going to be a final part of this story soon, so stay tuned!
