Rin is standing while watching a tombstone with a Matsuoka Family written neatly. "Watch me, Dad." He bows his head, makes his hair covering his face. "I'm going to win from that bastard,"
While I knew that I can't.

He is standing right in front of Rin. Those blue eyes and raven hair are still the same. And that water scent still cling on his body. But the difference is he is not Rin's best friend anymore.
"I'm here, as promised." Haru begins to speaks. The first response that Rin gives is a silently looks at Haru for a while, makes the guy waits for him to speak.
"Of course." He finally answered with a grins at his face, looking dismissively at Haru. "I kept my qualifying low so I'd be the same heat as you." Even so, Haru looks like doesn't care. "No need for that. We'd still meet in the final."
"I can't wait that long." Rin reaches his googles, starts to pull it. "Besides, there's no guarantee," He let his googles pulled off, "that you'll make it to the final."
Because I knew I can't beat you.
Haru stares at Rin looks mad at what Rin has said. But Rin doesn't care, and just walks toward Haru. Whispering besides him, "It's between you and me. I look forward to it."

Matsuoka Rin listed as number one on the leaderboard. While Nanase Haruka as number 2.
He won. He beats Haru. He has beats Nanase Haruka.
He laughs triumphantly. "Yes!" He pierces the man besides him, smirks arrogantly. He gets out of the pool, standing in front og Haru who still in the pool. "Haru, I'm win. This means I'll never swim with you again."
There's a changed on Haru's expression. But Rin doesn't care. He won. Then what do he cares? Haru is his rival now. "Never." Rin repeats it to make it sounds clear, to tell Haru how hurts he was when he lost on that old time.
But why does he feel the pain like the old time? Like when he lost from Haru?
He stops to smirk, turned his body makes the raven boy being behinds him. Then he walks toward where the Samezuka team is.
His heart doesn't want to stop beating. It hurts him, more than the pain that he felt when he lost from Haru. But this is what he wants. To wins from Haru, to reaches his father's dream.
But why? Why does it hurts him? He is win, then why? Isn't this what he wants the most? To beats Nanase Haruka, to be an Olympic Swimmer, to get his father's dream. Then why does his cheek is wet now? Is he crying?
He turned his head, to looks at that boy. Maybe this is really the last time they could swim together. And that facts only makes his tears unbearable.
