Im traditionally not a Mickey fan, but he looked so hurt and lost. The doctor was spying on them, did you catch that, when they left to eat, Jack caught him and he acted nonchalant, maybe there is a chance for them after all(just a sappy romantics hope) grins This is very random in a centred kind of way, I sat down to write and it just came out. So review me, feed me, I thrive on it.
He was gone, Mickey was gone, and she was crying. she could feel the tears, taste the salt. And he was gone.
Opening the door to the TARDIS the Doctor and Jacks expectant faces stared at her, she knew they knew that she'd been crying, but she didn't care. Mickey was gone.
Was she really that sad over him? yes, no, maybe. she had known she'd loved him before she left with the doctor, but now? She'd gotten him to come to Cardiff to see her because she'd missed him, but did she long to be in his arms like she used to. did she yearn for his kisses, or did she look on them fondly like looking through a musty old photo album. she didn't know anymore.
Maybe it had been a selfish thing, getting him to come to see her with her passport, just an excuse that was, but what was the excuse for exactly. When he'd told her about Trisha she'd been mad, snapped, made him feel bad, and then he'd tried to bare his soul. the rift had opened, and she had fled, fled to the Doctor. It was instinct now, and maybe it was a bad instinct but it felt right. She never looked back to Mickey stood alone, waiting, and fretting.
It was all the Doctors fault, with those big ears, huge nose, and piercing blue eyes, eyes she could fall into. When the chips were down, she ran back to him, without a second thought, second, second chances, that's what they'd been talking about, Jack and the Doctor. If he hadn't given her a second chance, Mickey wouldn't be broken, and she wouldn't be torn. But was she torn, or was she just denying her true feelings. did she cry for him because she needed to or thought she had to.
Mickey was gone, Jack and the Doctor were here, and she knew, it was his fault.
"Margerate slatheen has a second chance"
"That'd be nice"
All his fault.
