The Bureau Wizards
"I'm telling you, Scully, it's almost as if I was the protagonist of the story," Mulder said. They were sitting in the office, doing paperwork. Or at least one of them was.
"Just let go, okay?" said Scully. "I'm trying to work here."
Mulder couldn't let her attitude bother him. "We're both on a mission and face all kinds of obstacles, including government conspiracies. And there are some similarities between our backgrounds –"
"But wasn't he orphaned at age one or something?" Scully interrupted although she had decided ten minutes ago to not pay any attention to him.
"That's not the point," Mulder claimed, "the point is, we're both dark-haired and in contact with some supernatural stuff."
Scully smiled mockingly. "And I assume you can speak to snakes, too?"
"Scully! Can't you just take this seriously?"
"No, I can't. Mulder, for the last time – there are no connections between you and Harry Potter. Besides, it's kind of sad that you would actually give this matter that much thought."
Mulder sighed. It was starting to seem hopeless to try and convince Scully about his and Harry's common traits but, on the other hand, Mulder wasn't exactly known for lack of persistence.
"You know, Harry likes redheads, too," he finally said.
"Mulder, shut up."
