Prologue
Elrond
walked down the gates of Dun Algaz, his eyes gazing upon the morning
sun. He turned and look to his party members. Bronze Thunderbeard,
the mighty dwavern warrior that walked along with his pet gryphon,
Bane. Then there was Rick, the mysterious human warlock, his face
hidden in his crimson red hood. And last but not least, there was
Panduur, the draenei paladin, walking proudly with his rune-covered
armor and his purple hammer.
They were sent on a quest to
Northrend to battle the blue dragonflight. It seems that the leader
of the blue dragonflight, Malygos now despises mortal magic-wielders,
bad news for Elrond, one of the remaining high elven spell breakers.
Bronze shouted: Aye! When are we going to reach Menthil Harbor? These
wetlands are just… Wet! Rick replied: Maybe if your gryphon didn't
pee so much then it would be less wet half-pine.
Panduur's
voice boomed, he said: We are allies, do not argue! He then looked at
Rick straight in the eye and said: You play with dark magic human, I
can see it in your eyes. Rick brushed him off and though to himself:
Why else would they call me a warlock? Elrond sighed, he whispered to
himself: How the hell did I get this bloody mission?
When they
were about to reach Menethil Harbor, they saw smoke come from the
east, they ran to Menethil Harbor only to see it burning in dark
flames. The next thing they saw would be engraved in their minds for
the rest of their lives. A shadow emerged, the gigantic demon walked
out from the ruins of the once great Menethil Harbor. It was a pit
lord. Rick took a step back, he could sense a chunk of demonic
energies in the pit lord.
The pit lord then said: Fear me
mortals! For your time has come to an end. The Burning Legion will
burn Khaz Modan to the ground! And I, Matheroc, harbinger of
destruction will lead the invasion. The party saw Matheroc raised his
twin-balded blade high in the sky, the in was raining, but it wasn't
normal rain, it was a rain of chaos. Infernals were raining down from
the sky, Matheroc's minions opened a portal in Menethil Harbor were
Doomguards, Felguards, Felstalkers, Imps, Voidwalkers and many other
demons were pouring out. Rick had fainted from the immense demonic
energies and lying on Bane's back.
The party was running back
to Loch Modan to warn them about the incoming invasion. But by the
time they had reached, they could see nerubians bursting out from the
ground, infernals raining down, and at that moment, they knew they
were too late. Half of Bronze and other dwarf's homeland were now
in ruins.
