"You're going to enjoy tonight, Astoria," Draco said. "I have made a lot of wonderful plans for our first anniversary. You're really going to like where we go for dinner. Or at least I hope you do. Theo told me that Daphne really enjoyed it, and both of them are usually pretty good judges of what is good and what is bad. Do you want to do presents now or after we come home tonight? I really hope you like what I got you. I really spent a lot of time thinking about what to get you. This is our special day, Astoria, and everything is going to be just perfect."

"Slow down, Draco," Astoria laughed. "This is a day of joy, not of stress. I've told you more than once that you didn't need to go to any trouble. I am just fine with keeping today simple."

"But we have to do presents and dinner at the very least," Draco insisted. "It's our anniversary. We have to do something for our anniversary."

"But we don't have to do everything either," Astoria replied. "We can take it easy and still have a wonderful day with each other."

"Why are you so determined to stay at home anyways?" Draco pouted.

"Since when have we needed to go out in order to have a good time?" Astoria pressed, smiling seductively.

Draco grinned at this. "You know what," he said. "I really don't like going out that much."

"And we still have leftovers from dinner last night," Astoria added.

"We do," Draco agreed.

"So, we have everything that we need to get through the rest of the day," Astoria said.

"I believe we do," Draco confirmed. "But can we at least do presents? It's almost like you're trying to avoid doing them."

Astoria laughed. "Are you worried I didn't buy you anything?" she asked teasingly.

Draco looked at his wife with a horrified expression on his face.

"Don't worry, Draco," Astoria smiled. "I did buy you something."

There was an obvious look of relief on Draco's face. "Okay," he said. "Let's do presents, and then we'll do whatever you want."

"I just want to dance," Astoria responded. "I always like it when we dance together."

"I do too," Draco returned, a soft, almost reflective expression on his face. He then stood up and offered Astoria his hand.

"Surely you don't want to dance before we open up presents," Astoria said teasingly, even though there was a pleased expression on her face.

"Dancing with you is better than any present," Draco replied. "When we dance, it's just me and you. It's like the rest of the world does not exist. It's just us."

"Just us," Astoria echoed, a smile on her face as she took her husband's offered hand. "I like the sound of that."
