I don't own anything about this series, and do not make profit from this.

Now that's out of the way, readers, let's delve into the possibility of what would have happened if Annabeth alone fell and died in House Of Hades.

I Piper

"STOP!" Piper screamed with tears in her eyes as she saw one of her best friends falling into nothingness, and another friend nearly fall after. The hours after she swore she could hear Percy swearing to tear Gaea limb from limb, and much more vulgar things. She also swore she heard him say that he would never forgive her.

II Percy

"I saw her fall into Tartarus. I could have saved her. I failed in every sense of the word." Percy stated, as though it were fact to Nico. "You couldn't stop it. It's a harsh reality that people die." Nico told the son of Poseidon. "You think you know it all? Well, you don't. I swear I am going to tear Gaea limb from limb." Percy said, obviously enraged.

I know this is pretty bad, but let's skip ahead, now, to the Gaea fight.

III Perseus

Something washed over Percy when he saw the earth mother in person. Anger, Grief, Pain, Misery. They all culminated into one thing, a single thought, in Percy's head "She's the reason I can't be with Annabeth". This thought enraged him to the most intense level. He lost his humanity, making him neither god nor man. He took a step, and all of long island was flooded.

IV Poseidon

The sea god felt something incredibly strange, something he only felt when fighting a fellow Sea God or Titan. He felt the sea twist and bend to anothers will, but that will wasn't good in general. It was harsh and dark, depressed, and even more. Yet, still, Poseidon couldn't put his finger on why.

V Percy

Percy simply walked up to the ancient goddess. She looked at him and laughed. Suddenly she rose into the sky on a geyser. As did Percy, who said "I hope you liked your mind while you had it." He shot towards Gaea, and grabbed her wrist. He ripped her hand off, casting it in the water. He did this until he was only holding her face. He crushed the earthen face in his hands, tears streaming down his face while whispering "This is for Annabeth."
