Hi! So this is my first Clato fic, a one-shot. I wanted my take on the Cornucopia death scene, in Clove's POV, and this is what happened. It's short and full of descriptions and symbolisms, but I like how it turned out. Hahaha!

Thank you for the view.

Red! Red is in her eyes! And no matter how much she squirm, struggle, claw, the red wouldn't come out. It started with just a small dot, just an ant when you stand towering over it, but this time it is not her that stands tall because it is the red that drags her down until it covers her all over. Red is all over. She started screaming a name, his name. Hoping for salvation, his name is salvation. She screamed again and again, she thought she'd be deaf with her screams without hearing his voice one last time, blind without seeing a glimpse of his cold blue eyes again before red takes over her. Red! Then she hears it, his screams are as panicked and as lost as hers. Their voices are in harmony as they drip with fear and alarm. His body covers her in protection; icy orbs bore into her, so full of emotion that no words can be enough to equal them. He was saying something in a frantic manner, he begs for her to stay. His words are not audible but she just knows with how he cowers over her protectively. Red! It splattered all over his face! Red! He kept on speaking, his words rushed and stuttering as he hurries to talk to her. The female managed to shake her head, though it took a lot of her energy to do so. The small movement caught the attention of the male, he stopped talking, his sea blue eyes that are staring into her emerald eyes just takes away all the pain even for just a while. She gives him one last weak smile, forgetting the pain she was in just for him to hear her last message. She spoke slowly, knowing quite well that not even red could take over this one last moment she has with him. She managed to say three words, her last three words. A smile crept on his stone face, his blue eyes glistening with happiness, just before red poured all over her. She hangs on to the last glimpse of the blue sea before red envelopes her into deep. A wall of red stands before her, blocking everything in sight of her, then the red wall before her slowly started to get darker, turning into a starless night sky. Red disappears and icy blue eyes stare into her one last time before everything else vanishes.
