Bar Troubles
Kyo woke up to hear shouting and crying. He was puzzled. He got up and headed downstairs. What he saw shocked him.
Shigure had Yuki by the shoulders and Yuki was sobbing
"Yuki! Stop! You are not going to a bar!" Shigure said, vehemently.
"Just one. Please, Gure-san. Just one," Yuki pleaded, sobbing.
"No!" I promised I wouldn't tell Akito but this has got to stop. You're sick," Shigure said. There were tears in his eyes.
"I'm sorry. It helps me forget, "Yuki whispered.
"It's okay. I understand. Come on," Shigure said pulling Yuki along.
"Stay there," he said to Kyo who was flummoxed. What the hell was going on?
Shigure returned a while later. They sat on the couch. Shigure sighed and began talking.
"I guess I should have told you earlier. Sigh. Yuki has a problem. He goes to bars and...well... he drinks."
Shigure paused then continued.
"Sometimes I wake up in time to stop him but most of the time I don't. He's sick most mornings. I...I think he's going to die," Shigure finished, miserably.
"What can I do to help?" Kyo asked moved.
"I don't know what anyone can do," Shigure said, sadly.
After that Kyo tried to be friends with Yuki. They became fast friends and even though Yuki still went to the bars he was happier.
Then one day...
"Kyo."
Kyo looked up. There were in Yuki's room. Kyo had been reading and Yuki had been staring out the window.
"Kyo, you're my best friend and I can't hide what I feel anymore. And I know what I'm about to say could change us but I just want you to know that I'm...I'm in love with you," Yuki said, blushing.
Kyo blinked and then he smiled. He leaned over and kissed Yuki. Yuki's eyes widened and thent hey closed.
"Just so you know, "Kyo murmured.
"I'm in love with you too."
