Tell me what you think. This was meant to be a prayer to ward off ill luck and give peace to the speaker. This is alike to the catholic Hail Mary.
Blessed are those over the sea,
Bless me Yavanna and all the things that grow green,
Go before me Varda, Elbereth light my path with thine holy light,
Guide my steps Manwe Sulimo, send thines' great eagles to watch over me,
Great is Iluvatar above,
Cast thin keen glance to me, aid me in my copious toils,
Blessed are those over in the sea,
Hear my prayers and take pity on my wearied soul,
Lay thines blessings upon me till,
I depart and join the blessed ones over the sea,
To help you understand this I have provide a glossary.

Manwe Sulimo: "Lord of the Breath of Arda" He rules the Valar and Arda. Eagles are his symbol. He is husband of Varda
Iluvatar: "Eru" is "the one". He made everything from the Valar themselves to the elves and men. He is God above all.
