Dudley Dursley did not meddle, nor did he eavesdrop, gossip, or spy. Harry Potter and his owls could fly in and out at all hours of the day or night and Dudley would pay them no mind. He was not at all curious about what they were up to, or why the magic-folk needed owls to deliver their mail, or even how they trained the owls to deliver the mail. No, Dudley Dursley was a respectable citizen, so he did not wonder about these things. Dudley Dursley did not sneak into Harry's room when he was out and peer through his chest of magical things. He was not fascinated by the live frogs made of chocolate or The Daily Prophet and it's moving pictures. He didn't feed Harry's owl pieces of his pastry. Dudley Dursley did not care for his cousin. Dudley didn't miss (picking on) his cousin during the school months. Dudley didn't wish Harry would come home on holidays. When the gangly, red-haired boy came and whispered in Potter's room, Dudley Dursley did not hover in the hallway trying hear snippets of their conversation. And when the boy left, Dudley Dursley certainly did not notice that the worried look on Potter's face didn't leave with him. He didn't hear Harry pacing in the middle of the night. He did not peer in Harry's room to make sure he was alright. He didn't wonder where Harry went when he climbed through the window at night. Dudley did not wish Harry would leave with them when they moved away from 4 Privet Drive.

(Dudley didn't think Harry was wasted space.)
