My name is Izuku Midoriya, I'm 14, and I recently got accepted into U.A. High School in Musutafu, Japan, the most prestigious school for heroes in the whole world. I know what you must be thinking, that I must have an amazing quirk to have gotten accepted. But the thing is, I don't even have a quirk of my own. I used to be quirkless, I have wanted to be a hero for as long as I can remember. It all started when I saw All Might for the first time.
He was a sight to behold. The smile on his face as he carried those people to safety; he inspired me to be the best that I can, to help those who need it, no matter the cost.
When I learned that I was quirkless I was devastated. the one thing that I wanted in life was the one thing that I could never achieve. Even though I had this dooming thought floating around in my head I never really lost hope. Instead I spent all of my free time doing research on heroes, villians, and all the known types of quirks.
Out of the many quirks, I have two favorites. All Might's quirk and my childhood friend/ bully Katsuki Bakugou's, a.k.a Kacchan. Kacchan's quirk allows him to sweat nitroglycerin. When it comes in contact with air it causes an explosion. So the more he sweats the stronger he gets.
Not many people know the true nature of All Might's quirk, people speculate that it only enhances his physical strength, in part they are right, but its also so much more than that. Its like no other. It gives him the ability to pass his power along to another, as long as they consume some of his DNA. As the quirk is passed along each holder adds their own strength to it, compounding its effect, making it stronger each time.
How do I known this you ask, well like I said, I used to be quirkless. Then one day my hero changed my life for the better.
I have a long way to go before I can live up to the legacy of "One for All" (The name of All Might's quirk), but one day I hope to make it my own.
