A/N: This is an AU-ish one-shot/drabble I wrote a like six months ago and only let one person read. It was going to be an epic Puck/Quinn crack!fic, but it started off too angsty and just couldn't get into the cracky. Anyway, enjoy!

"Lord, please forgive me for, I have sinned." The girl formerly named Quinn Fabray recites in the dark room, the mesh screen is hiding Father Danny's face. She knows that he knows it is her, because for the last 13 months she has confessed the same thing on a weekly basis. "It has been a week since my last Confession."

Father Danny says a little prayer and asks her what is troubling her.

"I can't shake the guilt of having relations outside of wedlock." Relations is not how she would normally phrase it, but the word sex in a church, talking to a priest - who is representing God - seems a bit inappropriate.

"You must learn to forgive yourself, as God has forgiven you," he rationalizes.

"He punished me. I was pregnant, and then…" She pauses because the tears are welling in her eyes; they usually do at this part.

"It wasn't your fault," Father Danny interjects.

She knows he means well, but it was her fault. She should have looked both ways before crossing that intersection in her little red car. She should have seen the drunken asshole coming before she proceeded (she makes a mental note to confess calling the guy an "asshole" in her head on a daily basis).

"I shouldn't have lived."

"God has a plan for everyone." Father Danny keeps reassuring her. "It led you to a life dedicated to Him, didn't it?"

She ponders the thought. "I suppose so, Father." Though she isn't really happy, but surely God knows that. Paying for her sins should outweigh her happiness, right? At least that is how she rationalizes her choice to join the convent, and more importantly - what keeps her there.

She wraps it up by confessing that she still calls the guy in the junky blue truck inappropriate names. He tells her to say five Hail Mary's and an Our Father (for calling the asshole an "asshole", even in her head) and to ease up on herself. She thinks she hears him mutter "See you next week, Sister Mary Catherine," as she walks into the small chapel outside of the Confessional, but she isn't sure.
