A twenty year old Harry Potter stood next to his window, staring at nothing in particular and just losing himself in the soothing comfort of rain drops hitting the roof of his top floor flat in London. He was alone. Ginny had left him. One day they were so far lost in their love, and the next he was left alone feeling empty inside. "God, Gin…. I miss you."
Is it raining at your house like it's raining at mine
Do you miss me like I miss you, is it cloudy all the time
Do you tremble when the phone rings and you think I'm on the line
Is it raining at your house like it's raining at mine
Ginny stepped onto the balcony of her hotel room in Greece. The view was spectacular. She had never seen a sky look as blue or an ocean so clear. A young couple caught her attention. They were walking hand-in-hand toward the water, laughing together clearly in love. A pained look passed over Ginny's face. It seemed that this sight of a couple so in love brought a storm cloud over her heart. Her head sunk to her chest as she sobbed, "Oh Harry…"
Does it thunder and lightnin' even when the sun shines
Is it raining at your house like it's raining at mine
Ginny rushed to compose herself as she walked to her bed side table where a telephone was ringing. "Hello?" she said softly, hoping against hope that it might be him.
"Hey Gin," was the soft and sad greeting that she was offered.
"Harry," was her only reply.
"Er- I just called… well, er- Its raining pretty hard here and I just wanted to make sure that you were ok. I know you don't like storms."
"You do know that I'm in a completely different country, right?" she laughed sadly.
Is it raining at your place just like it is over here
If it is then sweetheart like me I know you're scared
I just called you to console you like any old friend would do
Is it raining at your house and by the way I still love you
"Yeah, I know. I don't think that I know anything right now more than that," he whispered.
She paused. "Harry…"
"I know. I know. I'm not supposed to do this. I just miss you so much Gin."
"I miss you too."
Does it thunder and lightnin' even when the sun shines
Is it raining at your house like it's raining at mine
A few moments after he hung up the phone, a loud crack sounded behind Harry. Turning, Harry was face to face with a sopping wet Ginny Weasley, a look of utter-most longing on her face. He didn't know what to say.
"It was raining at the apparition check point coming into London," Ginny answered the unasked question, picking up a wet strand of hair.
Harry crossed the distance separating them and embraced her tightly, not saying a word.
"I couldn't leave you, Harry. Its too hard."
Is it raining at your house like it's raining at mine
