Hey there!
Ok, ok, I know, I haven't updated my Naruto fic... but to tell you the truth, I've lost my inspiration for it. I just can't think of anything anymore... so I've decided to abandon it. I'm sorry to all the people who have read Cold and Distant, and did enjoy, but I have officially run out of ideas for it. If anyone would like to continue, just PM me to let me know, but I doubt that anyone would... but that's just me .
Anyways, this is just a little idea that i thought up... I know that a lot of people have fics like this, but I just wanted to post an at least slightly HitsuMatsu fic . I luv that pairing! I hate HitsuHina, but may be because I don't like Hinamori... anyways, on with the story!
Oh, yea:
DISCLAIMER: I don't own Bleach or any of the characters, sadly... but you should probably all be glad about that, cuz if I did, Bleach wouldn't be even 1/4 of how great it is now .
Now, on with the story!
Silent Thoughts
Matsumoto peered up from her paperwork to gaze at her young taichou. His mouth was a straight line as he worked his way through the pile of paperwork that had been stacked neatly on his desk. His eyes, his beautiful turquoise eyes, were narrowed as they always were, given him a permanently irritated look. Snow white hair crowned his head, standing up and spiked in every direction. Yes, that's what her taichou is: snow. Snow and ice.
Though she might not show it, Matsumoto Rangiku, fukutaichou of the 10th squad, respected her taichou very much. She doubted he would ever know how much she respected and cared for him. How much she loved it when he talked with her, whether he was irritated (because of paperwork issues, obviously), or caring.
She doubted he would ever know how much she hated and despised it when he looked at her, with his eyes so loving and caring. She hated it when it was always her that got her taichou's attention and love.
She hated it. She hated the fact those loving, caring eyes were reserved specially for her. She hated the way he dropped everything he is doing, only to rush to her side and ask if she was okay, if she was hurt, how her day was, with those loving, caring eyes that he reserved, specially for her. She hated how everything seemed to disappear when she was in the room, when she laughed, when she talked. Her taichou cared for her, more than anyone.
And she hated it.
Why don't you look at me with those eyes? Why don't you drop everything and come to my aid when I'm hurt, when I'm scared, when my day is over? Why?
And the thing she hated most about it…
Was that she didn't even realize what she had. She didn't realize how much he loved her. She didn't care. "'Shiro-chan' is just like that," she would say, and take all his love and worry for granted. Did she not notice it when she was fawning all over that traitor? Did she truly not notice how hurt he had been, how hurt her taichou was when all she talked about was her "Aizen-taichou"?
She didn't deserve his love, his care, or his worry. She didn't deserve his thoughts, his voice, or his laughter. She didn't deserve his friendship.
She doesn't deserve his heart.
So why? Why does she have it?
Alright, I know its short (much shorter than I would've liked it), but i think that's a good place to end it. Now that I've gone back and looked at it, I actually think that AN's combined are almost as long as the chapter... ok... that's just sad... .
Ok, to all of you fellow HitsuMatu fans, I hope you enjoyed it! and to all of you just neutral people too, of course... and to all of you HitsuMatsu haters, well... DON'T LIKE DON'T READ!!!! . jk I still hope you liked it . ... tho I don't think any of you would read it...
k, read and review, ppls! plz? .
