Author's note: I was given a topic. The topic was for me to tell a story about a man coming out in front of his friends. Seeing as he was a part of a South London gangster crew, coming out as a homosexual would not exactly be easy.

Bill's nose was tainted, and to add it was forcibly plunged into by some odd and dusty substance. It was smoke, in a swarm, filling the room and consuming all things within like a dark mist fogging everybody's vision; it constantly generated from the tainted cigarettes, slowly incinerating the last of their tainted figures. It left two waste products; both the small particles of ash gradually forming into piles that began burning the carpet and the dark mist of smoke clogging the atmosphere. Their concluding product was nothing, but taint.

While Jim and Tom smoked their cigarettes with delight, Phil was in the corner working out. Breath released itself from Phil's figure swiftly, at a constant and easily-predicted rate; his press-ups, despite his fatigue lacked an alteration in performance. As a response to his body stimulation, sweat violently emerged from his figure; it was as if the sweat was going through a maze when descending down his muscular arms, as well as additional parts of his mass. Bill was somewhat uncomfortable when observing half-naked Phil; and despite his will of impenetrable force, he found himself unable to relocate his eyes.

Bill's mouth gradually opened and searched for air. Instead of air he was provided with taint; as an immediate response he fastened his mouth shut and metaphorically locked it with a key. His eyes were released. He looked around the room at all of his buddies, moving his mouth slightly. "Hey, guys," he alerted, trying to receive the attention of his comrades. For a brief moment, he paused, carefully depicting the most negative of outcomes. His interest in feminine things and acts of similar association, under his impression, would be crushed by the masculinity leading the room. "Guys! Listen to me! I'm a homosexual!" He let loose, with an unseen rage. All of the faces looked at him.
