He couldn't stop replaying the scenes over and over, he stood in the shower letting cold water pour all over him hoping to cool his body down, it had yet to work one minute he would be fine and then a moment of being in Dr. Oliver's office or the examination room he was back in the shower. "Damn." How could one person, who officially hated him the first couple months he was in Oakdale, make something like this happen? He remembered asking Dr. Oliver whether Noah was an interesting case. I don't like you. That's what the Doctor said, yet now Luke was taking more than the recommended amount of cold showers because of that one man, who had claimed to hate him now, haunted his dreams. Just being near him caused Luke's whole body to stir, he knew where Dr. Oliver would be before he even appeared. And he could never ignore the look in his eyes whenever their eyes collided, in public, during meetings with the board.

Okay Luke stay calm; whatever you do don't look him in the eyes! Focus on something else!

"Mr. Snyder! How's the back?" Luke's heart jumped into his throat at the voice, he dropped his files in the shock. "Well that wasn't very clever." Dr. Oliver stood staring at the pile of paper. Don't look in his eyes! Luke looked past the Doctor to the nearby wall and cleared his throat. "Yes, well..." he knelt down. "Accidents happen. Are you going to help or just stand there?" Dr. Oliver hunkered down, a tell tale invisible smile on his lips, like he knew exactly the effect his was having on Luke. "Since you asked so nicely, why not. It's notlike I don't have anything important to do."

"So how's Noah doing?" Reid's eyes narrowed suspiciously at the mention of Noah, he scraped together some papers work. "Fine, he's making progress."

"That's it, that's all you have to say?"

"Now, now Mr. Snyder I trust you've heard of doctor patient confidentiality?" he felt a prick of irritation at the words. "I was just wondering you don't have to be a jerk."

"On the contrary Mr. Snyder I'm always a jerk and why don't you ask Noah yourself I trust you own one of those amazing electrical gadgets, I assume you have one, being a walking bank account." Luke picked up the last of the papers before stuffing them in his bag. "What's your problem?"

Dr. Oliver's face remained emotionless. "Problem? My only problem is you, now if you excuse me I have rounds."

What the hell was that?

Luke sat in Java trying to understand how his conversation who Dr. Oliver had gone wrong, it was just polite small talk, he knew that Dr. Oliver thought small talk was a waste of time but he needed to fill the awkward space between them.

Reid slammed his locker shut in frustration; there were many things in the world which brought a reaction like that. One of them being surrounded by idiots the other was blonde, dark eyed and extremely... Luke Snyder was a lot of things, which was a problem.

He pulled on his jacket getting set to leave the hospital before the infamous Mr. Snyder magically appeared again, he wasn't a sceptical person but he looked over his shoulder to check before signing himself out for the night.

"Wow Reid you're in a bad mood." Reid watched Katie pick up his plate and put it in the sink before sitting down and looking expectantly. "Want to talk about it?"

"Not particularly."

She smiled but didn't back, just sipped her coffee. "Does it have something to do with Luke?"

How the hell did she do that?

"Thought so, so what did he do today? Obviously something bad if you're this grumpy even eating that disgusting thing you call a sandwich."

more soon!
