The Demon's Cradle - Ch 1
Blaine took the crumpled piece of paper out of his pocket, laying it on his and Kurt's table in the Lima Bean. Studying the letters carefully, each one was written with perfect penmanship. Blaine wore a solemn expression, knowing the scent of the blood the note had been written in.
"You got my note then?" Chuckled Sebastian, suddenly appearing in Kurt's seat.
Blaine's eyes flickered up in surprise. It took him a couple of seconds to speak. "I don't understand."
Chuckling again, Sebastian crossed his legs, moving into a far more relaxed position.
"Oh Blaine," He sighed, wearing a huge grin. "Yes you do."
Opening his mouth, then shutting it, Blaine began to go through a whole spectrum of emotions, speechless.
"You understand perfectly." Sebastian growled, shifting forward to lean on the table. Closer to Blaine.
Running his hands over the note, Blaine re-read it over and over until the impact of what had been said finally hit him.
8pm, Lima Bean, Come Alone.
"What do you want from me?" Blaine snapped, furious. Just as Sebastian opened his mouth with one eyebrow raised he began again. "Don't play any games because I'm not interested, McKinley is where my heart is, I'm not becoming a Warbler again, ever. That's over now."
"What if I don't want you back at Dalton?" Sebastian mused, running the note through his fingers. "What if we never have to go back?"
"I don't know what you're talking about Sebastian."
Sick of the childish games Blaine rose from the table intending to leave. Spinning on his heel, headed straight for the door but finding his path blocked by Sebastian. Sebastian grabbled Blaine's hands and pulled him closer, their chests almost touching.
His breathe smelt sweet as he whispered. "We could rule the world Blaine. I could give you forever and yet you choose Kurt, he's got as much sex appeal as a penguin Blaine. A penguin."
Breaking free of Sebastian's grip he slumped back into his seat and Sebastian into Kurt's.
"What exactly are you getting at?" Blaine poked, unknowingly leaning forward.
Taking a deep breath, he replied, "I want you Blaine." He spoke fast, snarling at the end of sentences and wearing a malicious grin. "I want to hold you and watch you sleep. I want us to hold hands and for every guy in the room to be jealous. Every night I want us to get in bed together and.. well. I want to be able to bite you, feel your blood hit my lips. I want you hanging, weak and limp in my arms, begging me to let you live. I want to make you scream and run and be oh so afraid. I want you to run away in the middle of the night only for me to find you lost in the woods, terrified. I want to compel you to do my choosing, I want to keep you my little secret forever."
Sebastian stopped, leaning forward, his eyes a deep, deep bottomless black.
"Now, Blaine, you're sex on a stick and I don't want to hurt you but if you say no I will kill Kurt… slowly."
In the space of ten minutes Blaine has felt every emotion possible at full capacity, the spectrum reaching anger - he couldn't fight it anymore. He'd been so good, so good. All for nothing.
"You have no idea," Blaine gripped the table, forcing his eyes shut. "What I'm capable of."
All of a sudden the two were less than an inch away from each other, straining their necks across the table, gazing into each other's deep, deep, bottomless black eyes.
