"Indy?" Jared called, once again being lost in the vast cave. "I can't see a blasted thing in this abyss of darkness!" Jared heard heavy panting, and immediately assumed that it was Indy. Although, something seemed vaguely strange about it. "Is that you, Indy?" "Do not mention that name ever,"
came an unfamiliar, deep voice. "Who are you?" Identify yourself!" Jared exclaimed angrily, yet nervously. Jared could make out a silhoutte of a slender, tall man wearing a fedora, wearing what almost looked like metal. The man pulled something from his belt, and Jared realized that it was a whip.
He knew things were about to get complicated. With a snap of the man's wrist, the whip unfurled and cracked just in front of Jared's torso, but it was no ordinary bullwhip. Suddenly, the whip gleamed with a scarlet bolt of red hot electricity, and it buzzed loudly in Jared's ear. The electrified whip provided enough light to show the contour of the man's face, but Jared did not have enough time. The whip spun around him and tightly grabbed on to him. Jared could not utter a single word from the pain. Within seconds his body became a steaming pile of ash, and the whip returned to a regular bullwhip state. As he coiled his whip, Matthew Jones searched for his younger brother with plans to deliver the same fate to him.
