A/N: This is just a short one shot I thought of and decided to post. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not own NCIS or the characters.

The Boss Man

"You treat that desk with respect now, Probie." The boss told his new team member, "A lot of good agents have sat there; you have some big shoes to fill."

"Will do, sir." The agent looked up with a mixture of admiration, fear, and respect towards his boss.

He had heard about this man and this team, they were NCIS' greatest team, and he, the boss man was their greatest leader, maybe even their greatest agent. At the moment of course, because the boss man also had some big shoes to fill.

"And don't call me sir!"

"Yes, si… boss. Sorry."

"Rule number 6, never say you're sorry, it's a sign of weakness."

"Sor… right boss, Got it."

"Good, now get to work, all of you." The boss glared at the rest of his team, and all but one, who cracked a smile at him, went right back to work on the cold cases they had been working all day.

"That includes you McGee!" But as the boss yelled, he smirked too.

"On it, boss!" McGee chuckled; he enjoyed watching the boss train new agents. It reminded him of a long time ago, when he was the probie and his face had shown that same mix of fear and respect.

The bull pen turned to silence as the agents began to work on their cases, the probies still afraid to do anything but exactly what the boss said.

"Ring, ring." The bosses phone ran and he swear he saw his new agents jump.

"Hello, mhhhm. We'll be right there." He spoke quickly into the phone, his voice full of authority, and then to the agents he shouted, "Grab your gear, we got a case!"

Tim quickly jumped up, grabbing his book bag and throwing it over his back. He then stood up, only seconds behind the boss.

The other two agents looked dumbfounded, a look of confusion on their faces and they mumbled, "What?"

"Grab your gear," the boss said with a special of aggravation and patience, "let's go." He said the last part very slowly, as though he was talking to little kids.

"Got it, boss!" Both the agents jumped up, messily grabbing their backpacks, trying to copy Agent McGee and strode into the elevator after the boss and the senior field agent.

While standing in the elevator, on the way to a new case, and a new horrific crime, and a new motive, and a new murderer that would surely catch, McGee looked at the boss and said,

"Hey, Tony, how's the family? I'm sure Ziva will love to hear all about the new recruits!"

And the boss man leaned back his head, chuckled, and smiled a thousand watt DiNozzo smile.

I hope you like, I am a huge Tony fan and also a huge TIVA fan. Actually, I'm generally just a huge fan of NCIS. (:
