"I wanted something to remember hey by, all that was left of her were those shoes and now that wretched farm girl has walked off with them" The Emerald witch fumed at the pink one

"Elphie I…" Glinda started but wasn't sure what she was trying to say

Elphaba grabbed her roughly by the shoulders, "Don't even try to tell me you understand" She told her angrily, "You don't have any siblings, you don't know what it's like to lose someone so close, you'll never know"

"Elphie, I'm sorry i-"

"Glinda don't, just don't. My sister is dead…" She paused, suddenly realizing the horrible fact, "My baby sister is dead, Nessie…she's gone, forever" Elphaba sat down beside the weather beaten farm house, "Nessie, you're in heaven now, it's probably so beautiful" She cracked a sad smile, "And you're with father, and you'll finally get to meet mom" She let a few silver tears slide down her emerald cheeks. "Say hi so her for me, and please Nessa, please ,please forgive me" She hunched over the crumpled wheel chair

"Elphie, it's dreadful, it is, to have a house fall on you, but accidents will happen" The smaller woman rested a hand on the shoulder of the Wicked Witch.

"How could you call this an accident? She shouldn't of died like this, she was still a baby, and she was only twenty-five, Glinda! She should have been surrounded by people who loved her, not by these stupid Munchkins!"

"Well maybe not an accident…"

"Then what would you call it?" She now stood menacingly over the blonde

"A regime change…caused by a bizarre and unexpected…twister of fate" Glinda looked up at her eyebrows; her thinking face.

"You think cyclones just appear, out of the blue?"

"I don't know, I never-"

"Of course you 'never' you're too busy telling everyone how 'wonderful' everything is" she spat

"What exactly have you been doing besides riding around on that filthy, old, thing?" She blonde moved both her hands to rest on her hips

The green woman smirked before answering, "Well we can't all come and go by bubble!" she folded her thin arms across her chest; quite proud, "Who's invention was that, anyway? The Wizard's? Of course, even if it wasn't I'm sure he'd still take credit for it"

"Yes well it seems a lot of us are taking things that don't belong to us, aren't we?" the good witch wore a smirk of her own as she took a step forward

"Now you wait a clock tick, it may be hard for the blissful, blonde, brain of yours to comprehend that someone like him could actually choose someone like me, but it's happened, it's real. And you can wave that ridiculous wand all you want, you can't change it. He doesn't belong to you, he doesn't love you, and he never did. He loves me!" The witch looked shocked at her own words; as if just realizing the fact, "He loves me." She whispered again, this time it was only for herself to hear.
