In The Need Of Company
He felt worn out. After a whole day of uncommon activities, he entered the room and glanced at the only thing he needed right now. With slow, heavy movements, he laid on the bed. He realized he had forgotten to get rid of his clothes, but he did not mind. He was too tired to even care about that. The need of her started to grow bigger and bigger. It was then when he took notice of how much he longed for her… to see her once more, to listen to her encouraging and joyful voice once more…
Out of nowhere, he felt she was there, by him. His eyes filled with undropped tears as he felt her inexistent hand cherish his hair, as if comforting him. Her touch felt smooth, caring. He would see her there if it wasn't for his annoying mind that told him she wasn't really there. It was in times like this when he hated his complexity of thoughts. If he were any other kind of animal but a human, such things would not happen. He would feel she was there and reason that, after all, she really was there.
He felt tiresomely annoyed by bothering her with his stupid mind. What he felt for her he felt it for no one else. That make her unique to him, and his feelings would never be diminished.
Before his eyes closed completely, he made a promise to that presence. He would go and see her first thing in the morning, he needed to see her one more time. No, he wanted her to see him. He wanted to know she was there for him, to see how her smile widened when she saw him. But for that, he had to wait. And he would wait for as long as it was needed. With a whisper, he called forth her name, which lingered in the air.
"Winry" he said.
Plotless, I don't like the title, and short... But I like it anyways... You wouldn't believe the handful of things I had to get through to write this thing... Never mind, I hope you like it
