Rise of the Guardians: The Beliefs of Children

Chapter 1

It was Halloween and kids are excited to get candy. A group of little kids went from house to house getting candy from nice people.

As they were walking, a group of street bullies confronted them.

"Hey kids, give us all your candy!" the bully in the middle threatened them.

The kids were terrified. They gave the bullies all their candy.

When they were scared, their fear essence got out of them and flew to an abandoned meadow. It stopped and got sucked into the ground.

Suddenly, the ground made a low rumble. Pitch, the Guardian's former enemy, rose from the ground. "Halloween, the time when children get scared by bullies. I'm glad that happens." His voice scared the animals from nearby.

In the North Pole, Jack Frost flew around in the sky, making snowflakes with his staff. His friend, Tooth, was getting covered with snowflakes. A Yeti
brushed the snow off Tooth and she smiled.

Bunnymund sat under a tree, carving a didgeridoo from a pine tree.

Sandman was busy making shapes and animals from his magical sand. He threw a Dream Sand ball at Jack to stop him from covering them with snow. Jack dropped from the air and Sandman made a soft cushion for his fall.

Jack was sleeping gently, snowflakes floated around his head.

Tooth giggled, "At least we're not going to get covered by snow anymore."

Meanwhile, North was busy checking his elves and Yetis at their progress making toys. He carefully examined his giant globe to see if kids were being naughty or nice.

Suddenly there was alarm at the globe. North checked it and found a whole city covered in fear. It was spreading fast when another city was in the progress of being scared.

"Get me the rest of the Guardians, now!" he cried at two Yetis.

The Yetis nodded and ran outside.

Jack was still sleeping and dreaming of snowflakes while Bunnymund, Tooth, and Sandy jumped on a trampoline Sandy made.

"Maybe we should wake Jack up. I don't want him to miss this much fun." Tooth said.

Bunnymund just rolled his eyes while Sandy woke up Jack.

Jack opened his eyes and looked at the golden trampoline.

"You guys were jumping on a trampoline while I was sleeping. No fair!" he said.

"Sorry, Jack. You were covering us with snow." Tooth apologized.

Jack stood up and nodded at her. Suddenly, two Yetis arrived including an elf. The elf whispered in Jack's ear. Jack nodded and said to the other Guardians, "North needs us."

They went to the palace and entered. They saw North looking at the giant globe, thinking.

He turned his head and looked at the Guardians. "Ah, Guardians, there is trouble. It seems like Pitch has been feeding on children's fear and he has awoken. He already filled a whole city with fear."

The other Guardians looked at each other with horrified faces.

"We can defeat him." Jack said boldly.

North shook his head and said, "Pitch has become stronger and we need more help."
