Words on the Screen
The production of 'Twinkle Towne' was just the beginning at East High.
Troy and Gabriella run onto the stage from opposite sides, pausing center stage to grab hands and bow. Panning out, it shows Chad and Taylor sitting in the crowd next to Jason, who isn't looking at the stage, but at the pit, where Kelsi stands up from the piano to take her bow.
New relationships are blooming.
Sharpay walks with Zeke through the gym, appearing to listen as he animatedly talks and gestures with his free hand, the other's holding a basketball. She nods and laughs a real, genuine laugh.
Others' are strengthening.
Troy, Gabriella, Chad, and Taylor sit at a table in a restaurant, laughing and joking. Meanwhile, Kelsi sits at her piano with Jason next to her. Her hands rest on top of his, and she guides his fingers down the keys, both of them grinning.
Unheard of friendships are being forged.
The cafeteria is shown from Sharpay's balcony, though she isn't sitting there. Down in the main part, Troy, Chad, and Zeke are pushing tables together to accommodate their large crowd. Panning around the table, Ryan jokes with Taylor, and Sharpay rolls her eyes at one of Chad's corny jokes. Troy snatches a fry from Kelsi's plate when she isn't looking, which leads Jason to grab Troy's apple and toss it to Kelsi.
Everything was completely perfect...
(Lyrics fade in)
We'll laugh 'til we cry
Chad loops his arm through Taylor's and takes off skipping down the hallway while she laughs, throwing her head back.
Read each others minds
Live with a smile
Troy and Gabriella sit in class while their teacher drones on and on. Troy does an exaggerated imitation of how she talks, using his hands to wildly gesture throughout the air, and Gabriella tries her hardest not to laugh.
Make it all worthwhile
Make it all worthwhile
Kelsi and Jason sit at a table, and she looks like she's at her wits' end with trying to explain something to him, and he sits there blankly for a moment before grinning and writing something on a piece of paper. They both nod fiercely and he slides his arm over her shoulders.
Life has moments hard to describe
Feeling great and feeling alive
Walking down the street, Sharpay doesn't look the happiest, but a strong pair of arms wraps around her waist, and she stops for a moment before turning around to look up into Zeke's face. They look at each other for a moment before he leans down and kisses her softly on the lips.
Never coming down from this
Now that we're on
Troy looks down over the side of the cliff before looking back at his friends who are sitting around a campfire. Ryan nudges Gabriella and nods to Troy, and she waves at him, motioning for him to come back.
But perfection rarely lasts.
High School Musical:
Curtain Call
A/N: Okay, so what do you think? I'm going to finish Desperate for Changes first, which will probably take a while, but this was something I'd been toying with. So now I need you to tell me where I should go with this. Should I make it into a TV show like thing? Or more of a movie? Also, if you've got any ideas at all, feel free to share them. I don't know how fond of the title I am, but it works for now. Pleease review dears! xxx
