1This is a poem from Kagome to Inuyasha after she follows Inuyasha and sees Inuyasha and Kikyou kiss.
Kagome runs back through the forest, tree limps slashing at her, trying to cut her skin that was too delicate to be running through a forest. "I can't believe I was such a fool. He asked me to stay! He asked me to stay with him, told me he loved me and now he's kissing that claypot! I can't believe my stupidity." she shouted out at no particular person.
Taking back all I said.
Taking back all I did.
I never wanted this to end.
But don't you see?
You're killing me.
Killing me.
Taking back all I wanted.
Giving back all you gave.
I never wanted us to end.
But don't you see?
You're killing me.
Killing me.
Giving back what you said.
Giving back what you did.
You always wanted us to end.
But don't you see?
You're killing me.
Killing...me.
Kagome jumps into the well and races through her house. She didn't even bother saying hello to Souta or Jii-chan. 'Today is going to change everything.' she says to herself before stifling the last of her tears and laying down, thus consumed in a deep sleep.
