It was a harmless, nonchalant question.

"Hey Fraulein, would you like to karaoke with me tonight?"

Ema didn't even put down the file she was reading as she stoically answered, "No."

"Why not, it seems like fun? I found a great place that's nearby. Mr. Wright and Fraulein Trucy are going as well. I invited Herr Forehead, but he said he'd have to check his schedule. Then he walked off, mumbling something about rock stars and chords of steel." Klavier leaned on her desk casually with one arm, leaning closer and closer to Ema as he spoke.

"I'll think about it," she said, pushing Klavier's ego away.

Klavier looked as if he was about to walk away when he suddenly came across a great idea. "I suppose I could invite Herr Edgeworth, if he's not busy." He leaned close to Ema again, only centimeters away from her face.

Ema slammed the papers she was reading on her desk and shot up, hitting Klavier's head in the process. "I'LL GO!" she boldly proclaimed, gathering her things in preparation for the night ahead of her. She bustled out of her office without a second word to Klavier.

Klavier was left alone in Ema's office, staring blankly at the door that she just left through. "Now if only she was that crazy about me." He sighed and shook his head in a Kristoph-ish way as he walked out of her office, shutting the door behind him.
